Physicians and Nurses

Lori A. Cannon, RN, MSN, ANP is a native of High Point, North Carolina.  She attended the School of Nursing at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where she graduated Cum Laude in 1989 and was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau honor society.  She was employed in the coronary/intensive care unit at Wesley Long Community Hospital until 1997.  At that time, a Master's degree in nursing was obtained from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  She is a Certified Adult & Acute Nurse Practitioner and specializes in cardiovascular medicine.

Lori has one daughter, Lauren.  She enjoys spending time with her family, gardening and looking for nurse figurines to add to her collection.
