Welcome to Greensboro Cardiology Associates

Our physicians are certified by specialty boards in both cardiovascular disease and internal medicine and have been elected Fellows of the American College of Cardiology (F.A.C.C.). Our practice is limited to diseases of the heart and blood vessels.  Most of our patients have been referred for consultation about a particular medical problem and will return to the care of the referring physician when the consultation has been completed.  (In some cases, with agreement of all parties involved, continued medical care of a particular problem is undertaken.)

A cardiologist cares for patient with heart disease and performs both diagnostic and therapeutic tests.  We offer a full range of cardiac testing in our office, including treadmill tests, echocardiography, nuclear perfusion testing, chest X-rays, electrocardiograms, pacemaker monitoring and outpatient arrhythmia monitoring.

We also have an excellent on-site medical laboratory for blood and urine testing.

Some procedures (cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stent insertion, pacemaker insertion and cardioversion) are done at the hospital.  Drs. Tennant, Jordan and Nahser perform catheterizations and angioplasty and stent insertions.  Dr. Tennant also inserts permanent pacemakers.
